Guests don't like doughnuts and iced coffee at Dunkin'. Based on the reviewers' opinions, the staff can be good. A lot of people say that the service is fine. But this place hasn't got a high rating from Google users.

As I was looking for a Dunkin nearby during my stay in DC I came across this one which is the 8500 Connecticut Ave. As I walked in I noticed that they had about 5-6 employees (visible) on staff. Most of them being “training” employees. I understand that early employees have to be trained in order to start working but managing them all on the same day is absurd. That is not the problem in this case. The staff did not even know how to make the right sausage egg and cheese sandwich. I noticed other staff making their own drinks and hanging out in the back and not helping customers while there were more people to order. When they eventually got to people the lack of effort and attention was unbelievable. One woman was waiting for about 10 minutes for two donuts that could easily just be placed into a bag. Tell me, how hard could that be? I then got my food and was told they made it wrong, I asked them to fix it and they did. Now I thought they made things right so I left. When I got in to my car and started eating I realized there was hair in my food. I was not pleased by the fact that it took the Dunkin staff at 8500 Connecticut Ave long to make my order, mess it up, and cause problems with it. To the managing staff, I hope you take this in to consideration to hire actual employees who put in the right effort Dunkin is perceived as, to the rest of the community, do NOT attend this Dunkin. PS: Even though I took most of the hair out (2 pieces) I show this picture that there is still hair. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I'm new to the area and I normally go to Dunkin Donuts Monday- Friday. This location just made me reconsider my actions . I have been out here for only 2 weeks and have been trying to give this location a chance. Today was the final straw. I only get an ice coffee and avocado toast. I order put in a mobile order so I am not waiting. And yet, it's still almost a 5 min wait for the ice coffee that be bitter and just old tasting. How am I getting a banana, vanilla ice coffee and can't taste any flavor? I also get an avocado toast that I had to wait almost 7 - 10 mins for. My toast is burnt and hard as a rock. They really messed up my morning. I will no longer support this location and encourage others to avoid. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I live directly behind this dunkin within a 2 minute walk and usually stop in on my way to work in the morning. As a nurse, coffee keeps me going in the morning so it’s a must have most days. Anyway my experience this morning at this location was awful. I usually mobile order for a quick in and out. The construction of the new metro keeps the morning traffic high but this morning there was only one person in the store. The Dunkin' app has an option to quickly reorder a previous drink. I ordered a regular iced latte with toasted chocolate flavor added. My previous experience with that particular flavor wasn't good. I had reordered by accident. I asked in store if i could have the drink remade without the added flavor. The simple question to Evelyn the cashier was escalated to a manager. Manager Kiki came over and stated no. A drink cant be remade even if it tastes bad because it was a customer error. I couldn’t believe it. I have ordered sandwiches from this store that were burnt and undercooked, a drink that tastes terrible that cant be finished which is lost money but a drink cant be remade because i the customer ordered the flavor in error. I would need to buy a new drink instead. Although i can walk out of my door and be in this store in 2 minutes i will never step foot in there again. Please save your money. Avoid them at all costs.
