Dear Dunkin’ Management, I am writing to formally report a very unpleasant experience I had at the Dunkin’ Donuts City Centre branch today, January 2, 2026, at exactly 7:20 PM. While attempting to place my order and asking about the available items, the staff member named ( ROKO ) assisting me was extremely impatient and dismissive. Instead of helping, she spoke to me in a rushed and rude manner, repeatedly saying things like “what do you want” in a rude tone and made me feel as if I should already know everything and was wasting her time. When I asked to add vanilla syrup to my drink, she responded by saying it was not possible because I have to pay extra 600 fils. The way she said this felt judgmental and insulting, as if she was assuming I could not afford such a small amount. I do not understand on what basis she felt entitled to judge me as a customer. When my order was ready and I asked for a lid, her behavior crossed all limits of professionalism. She ((literally)) and i mean literally threw the lid at me instead of handing it to me properly. It honestly felt like she was throwing an object at a person rather than serving a customer. I understand that employees can have bad days or personal pressures, but this does not justify taking out anger or frustration on customers. Working in customer service requires basic respect and professionalism at all times. The employee’s name, as I heard it during the interaction, was Roko. If the name is not correct, she was the older staff member of Filipino or Asian origin and have a tattoo on left arm with a name something like elino or something similar. I hope this complaint is taken seriously and that proper action and customer service training are provided to prevent such behavior from happening again. Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

I am in Dunkin Donuts City Centre, Bahrain. I come regularly and always bring my own reusable cup, which keeps the coffee hot and means I don't use a paper cup, which is not as environmentally friendly. Today, the barista told me that the new policy is not to serve beverages in customers' own cups. However, he would serve the coffee in a paper cup, and I was free to then pour it into my own cup. I would like Dunkin Donut policy maker to explain why this is. The barista was only following orders from Head Office. But it makes no sense to me. Aren't we all constantly being told to be environmentally concious and do everything we can as individuals to save the planet? I personally have saved hundreds if not thousands of one-time use paper cups over many years by always bringing my own reusable, sustainable cup. Where are the environmental credentials of Dunkin Donuts now that they are refusing customers to use their own cups? Please can someone explain the sense in this new environmentally unfriendly policy?
