Taste perfectly cooked cioppino, baked ziti and filet mignon to form your opinion about this steakhouse. Try good chocolate cannoli, panna cotta and gelato. The exerperience at the Dunraven was down and up. My wife and I had a 6:15 reservation and arrived at 5:55, which was highly inappropriate apparently. We were provided a seat in the back corner of the restaurant. I chose to give my wife the view while I got to see the cash register, a tarped boat, and a sad porch. There were four seats available with nice views and two still available when we began our order. We asked to move to a better view and were told no because we didn't show on time. Hostess/front of house service 0/5. Our food was overall good. Our appetizer was concerning due to the mushrooms being inconsistent in temperature and they weren't salted at all. Our first choice of wine was also unavailable, which was annoying. There was a point we highly considered paying for the mushrooms and wine and going somewhere else for dinner. However, our waiter became a hero of the evening. As we ordered our entrees, we learned our first option was not available (the trout) but the waiter did everything in his power to keep us happy. He let us know that the Dunraven was going to close for good. So, we forgave a lot and tipped him very well. Waiter service 5/5. The food we ordered after the appetizers were amazing. I ordered the chicken piccatta and my wife ordered steak. We got a side of soup and a caesar as our optional sides. The soup was hot, salty and creamy-absolutely delightful. The caesar was perfect. The entrees were perfect, hot, and well-balanced in flavors. We ordered the chocolate genache cake and it was rich perfection. Food 4/5. The atmosphere was mostly unknown to me as I had that corner to look at. My wife said that the view from her side of the table was amazing. It doesn't hit the same when you have to twist around to see it. The wood aesthetic and lighting was a delightful ambiance. Atmosphere for my wife 5/5 for me 2/5. Service: Dine in Price per person: $100+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chicken Piccata

The view is spectacular, but the food is kind of tired. The service was amazing, and the waiter said the restaurant had just been bought out and was going to reopen in May. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
