Come for a meal right after seeing Lynden Pioneer Museum. This restaurant offers you good yellow pea soup, fried chicken and sausages. Eating tasty apple pie, blueberry pancakes and Dutch pancakes is a nice experience here. It's time to degustate great coffee.

Loved it .. unbelievable comfort food. Tasty delicious and the service was excellent. Their pancakes are to die for it's the only thing I really ate I did try off my associates plates and eggs waffles you name it delicious!!

If I could give this a big fat Zero I would, the food was disgusting and the silverware and dishes Dirty!!! YUK!!! I here it is suppose to change hands which is a good thing I hope...I dont think the place could get any dirtier!!!!

Arrived at the Dutch Mothers Family Restaurant a little before 3:30 pm (they close at 4:00 pm) After being seated and orders taken, it was revealed that "[we] ran out of mayonnaise; that will probably change the taste of your sandwiches." More likely the "we ran out of mayonnaise" was another way of saying "I can tell you aren't from around here, there's no one else in the restaurant and we want to go home at 4:00 pm." Just to keep it 100%, I recommend the Dutch Mothers put a sign on their door that states: "It says we're open until 4:00 pm but we don't serve past 3:30 pm." Times certainly have changed since I worked in a restaurant that was open until 10:00 pm and we served until that hour and were instructed by our employer to "give people 45 minutes past closing to finish their meal."
