E&S Fish Company in Saint Charles is a seafood establishment that offers fresh and delicious seafood dishes. The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming, with live piano music on the weekends. The interior design is simple yet elegant, with white tablecloths and a cozy atmosphere. Prices are fair and not excessive, especially considering the quality of the food. The eatery is located in a small strip mall, but don't let the unassuming exterior fool you - the seafood here is top-notch.
One of the special features of E&S Fish Company is that it is BYOB, so guests can bring their preferred libations. The menu is limited, but each dish is prepared with excellent attention to detail. Some of the standout dishes include the blackened or sautéed Arctic char, the tuna tower appetizer, and the crab cake. For those who prefer sandwiches, the grouper sandwich and the halibut sandwich are both excellent choices.
In addition to the seafood dishes, E&S Fish Company also offers a complementary seafood chowder with each entree. For cocktails, guests can bring their own wine or beer. For soft drinks, the establishment offers a variety of options, including iced tea and lemonade. The wine list is not extensive, but there are some good options available, such as the Chardonnay from Sonoma-Cutrer and the Pinot Noir from La Crema.
Overall, E&S Fish Company is a fine dining spot that is definitely worth a visit for seafood lovers. The quality of the food is outstanding, and the BYOB policy makes it an affordable option for a night out.

E&S never disappoints! The fish is always fresh and prepared creatively to the highest gourmet standards. There are typically only three dishes on the menu with the option to switch out for a different seafood from the display case if you choose. Of the many times we’ve been to E&S, we’ve never been disappointed with the options. This family run business offers a warm, unpretentious atmosphere while still feeling classy. The live music on the weekends gives a relaxing, upbeat vibe giving patrons the freedom to sing along or just enjoy it in the background. Being free to bring your own beverage (BYOB) is an added bonus in cutting down on the high cost of fresh seafood. My husband and I continue to be regular patrons as we appreciate the consistency of the quality of the food, service, and ambience of E&S. Decided to give this place a try. I actually found it by accident after asking my brother what I should have for lunch. He found E&S Fish Company on the Google and told me to go eat there for lunch and I'm glad I did! I normally don't go for places like this as it's not really my cup of tea but I'm glad I gave them a shot! Man I've had the grouper sandwich and the halibut sandwich and both were OUTSTANDING. The potatoe salad is really good also and I don't even like potatoes salads! On Friday's they server a red seafood soup and it was 10 out of 10. I haven't had a bad thing from this place and I will continue to come to E&S for years to come. In addition, I have told all my family and friends about E&S and they are now enjoying this restaurant. I can't wait for my brother to come into town so I can take him to this find establishment that he recommend that I try out!
