Make a change from your customary meal and order perfectly cooked tomato soup, sausages and avocado toasts at this restaurant. If hungry, come here for good French toasts. Great espresso is what may make you come back to La Belle Vie CAFE (formerly Elm City Cafe).
The hospitable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. Spectacular service is something that visitors note in their comments. Here you will pay democratic prices. Excellent atmosphere, the real French touch with heartwarming owners. Efficient service. Reasonable prices. The quiche was a little dry, and the salad very scarce unfortunately, but good salad dressing and delicious espresso coffee. Crème brûlée authentic, but could have been slightly better with brown or unrefined sugar top crust. Highly recommend for a quick luncheon. Difficult to locate from busy US 1, signage of the main road would help as it is in the back of the strip plaza. We’re so happy this new French restaurant finally opened in Stuart — we’d been waiting for a place like this in our area for a long time. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is warm, and the owner, Fred, is incredibly friendly. A wonderful addition to Stuart.
