Not only should Temple Of Augustus be visited, but also Enoteca Istriana. At this bar, try tasty prosciutto. Based on the guests' opinions, croissants are perfectly cooked. It might be good to enjoy delicious wine, craft beer or Spritz. Order good espresso, iced coffee or cappuccino, it's a must when visiting Enoteca Istriana.

This place is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the visitors' point of view, prices are average. The calm ambiance is to be found here. But a number of guests who use Google didn't give this spot a high rating.

The sandwich, at first glance, seemed like it would be a safe bet—ham, cheese, and, as promised, tomatoes. The ham and cheese did their job, nothing special but certainly fine. However, the tomatoes were not *in* the sandwich where they belonged. Instead, they sat awkwardly on the side, as if they'd been forgotten. This left me with the extra task of assembling my own sandwich, which, frankly, isn't what I came here for. Then there was the bread. I can confidently say it was the cheapest, flimsiest bread you could probably find in Croatia. It crumbled in my hands, devoid of any real texture or flavor, barely able to contain the sandwich fillings. Trying to eat it was like trying to hold together a deck of cards in a windstorm. The whole thing fell apart faster than I could take a bite. On the upside, the service was actually quite nice. The staff were friendly and polite, which was a small saving grace. However, it didn’t quite make up for the fact that I had to play chef with my sandwich and deal with bread that disintegrated on contact. As for the other cafés in the area, I suspect there might be better options, but I can’t be entirely sure. They could just be tourist traps waiting to serve up equally disappointing meals. After this experience, I’m not exactly eager to take the risk. Price per person: €5–10 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
