I hate to say it but I feel scammed. Me and my partner walked in just to try Japanese pizza. I told the waiter that we already had dinner, just here to taste your pizza. The waiter said you can’t order just one pizza, you gotta have a drink with it. Me and my partner thought we should get two pizzas instead of a drink cause we could takeaway second pizza.And we asked for still water, waiter comes with 2 Pellegrino and opens one right while walking towards us. We kept going cause bottle was opened anyways. Pizzas were moderate in taste. Seafood pizza was good. While paying, we were hit by 1800 Jpy for 2 Pellegrino bottles which we didn’t even want to begin with. Only one was opened so I requested to charge for only one and the waiter said No. Even in Australia that bottle charges less than 5$. Might as well put hands in our pocket and grab the cash. Had a wonderful dinner experience at Esse Due. Came in with a party of three. Reservations are recommended especially if you have a big group and you're planning to try their courses. Try the pudding that was made famous in The Sweettooth Salaryman TV show. Kantaro was spot on - it was scrumptious and delectably rich and creamy! You won't go wrong with any of their pasta or pizza offerings, either. 10/10 will come back again!
