Enjoy Old Sacramento by default, the clients' recommendation is to come to this bar as well. Echo & Rig serves perfectly cooked crab legs, spinach salads and stewed steaks. Good chocolate sundae, French toasts and caramel ice cream have a pleasant taste. Delicious michelada, champagne or vermouth are waiting for you at this place. It might be good to try great cappuccino, ice tea or berry cocktails.

There are tons of great restaurants in the Golden Center. Do yourself a favor and find a better spot. Their service is abysmal. I went to Echo & Rig and ordered dinner to go at the bar. I ordered the chicken with a side or broccolini. After waiting for 40 minutes, I asked about my food. The bartender, Audrey, ran to the kitchen to check on my order. While she was gone, another bartender assured me this was a normal wait time because chicken takes a long time. A minute or two later, Audrey returned with my food. I paid $50 plus tip and left. When I got to my room and opened the box, it was clear it had been sitting around and was cold. I called the restaurant to complain but their phone is forwarded to the Vegas location. So not only is their service poor, they’re unreachable. The person at the Vegas location suggested I send an email if I wanted to speak with a manager. How disappointing. Service: 1

I dont’ usually write reviews, but the multiple experiences that I had at the Sacramento location bears commentary. The reservation system was screwed up and useless. After dinner for seven, I presented my my credit card only to have the server come back with a “declined. Call” Message on the bill. I went back to the register with him, while calling my credit card company, and after I identified myself properly, the credit card rep assured me that my card was in good standing and there had to be some problem with the dining establishment.
The manger comes over and Re enters my card and it went through with no problem. The next day I reluctantly went back for lunch with my wife and son, whom we were visiting. The sparse wine menu is laughable, but I ordered a couple of glasses of Sauvignon blanc, was advised “we just ran out”. The inattentive server takes our order lackadaisically, 1 burger, 2 shrimp cocktails, 2. Orders of French fries, 1order of pork burnt ends. The order took forever and there was no concern or interest shown by the absent minded server. Overall terrible, I wouldn’t go back under any circumstances.
