It's easy to find Eco Hostel due to the convenient location. The atmosphere of hospitality of this place highly depends on the staff, that is friendly here. Terrific service is something that visitors note in their comments. Most of the time, the cozy atmosphere is to be found here. As for the Google rating, this spot earned 4.6.

This is my third time staying at Eco Hostel in Catania, but unfortunately, this experience fell short of expectations. Despite previous positive experiences, this visit left much to be desired. One of the main issues arose with breakfast, which was included in the accommodation. Due to an early flight departure, I inquired about options for accessing breakfast before the standard serving time of 7:30 am. However, I was disappointed to find that the hostel did not offer any alternatives for travelers with early departures, such as a takeaway option or pre-prepared meals. This lack of flexibility was disappointing and left me feeling unsatisfied. Additionally, I encountered problems with the electrical sockets in my bed. Despite seeking assistance from the owner, I was told that there was nothing that could be done to rectify the issue. This meant that while others were able to relax in bed and charge their devices, I was left inconvenienced and unable to do so. The lack of a functional socket greatly impacted my ability to unwind after a long day, undermining the fundamental purpose of a hostel as a place for rest and relaxation. Furthermore, the owner's response to the situation was less than satisfactory. Rather than offering a practical solution, I was ironically offered an additional cable, despite the root of the problem being the faulty socket itself. As someone who works in hospitality, I understand the importance of ensuring that guests' needs are met and problems are promptly addressed. However, in this instance, I was left feeling overlooked and unattended to. In conclusion, while Eco Hostel in Catania has its merits, such as its eco-friendly ethos, my recent experience was marred by issues regarding breakfast provision and inadequate resolution of technical problems.
