We haven't been to such a nice restaurant in ages. And since it was our first time, they rolled out the red carpet for us. We were seated promptly with wait staff joining us in good time. Jake was our main server with several others filling our glasses and bringing meals. They checked on us but didn’t hover. Even the manager Carl came to greet us and make us feel welcome. The property is stunningly beautiful. The music provided a soft and enjoyable atmosphere. We never felt rushed and enjoyed being able to linger. My husband enjoyed a salad and buffalo ribeye while I enjoyed French onion soup (not too salty at all) and Chilean sea bass. The blend of flavors was perfection. Jake surprised us with a free dessert of our choice as we were celebrating my husband's birthday. The cheesecake was perfection without being too sugary sweet. I would put this on my list of places to celebrate momentous occasions, for we won't soon forget our experience. Lovely atmosphere, kind & competent staff and delicious food - Eddie Merlot's is a delight! Sat at the bar for happy hour drinks and apps (along with many others) and enjoyed shrimp cocktail, sweet and spicy shrimp, loaded potato chips and filet mignon sliders along with a blueberry mojito and glass of pinot noir. Next time will be for dinner! Service: Dine in Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
