The Edison Diner may not look like much when driving on Route 1 at day, but when lit up at night, it is sure to draw attention, so the place had already interested me on many commutes to New Brunswick. When finally deciding to sit down and eat, I was immediately greeted with quick, but not extremely conversational service. The quick is objectively good, but the social aspect is up to the customer, me personally, I appreciated the minimal interaction, as it still felt friendly regardless. The best word to describe the atmosphere within the diner, is comfortable. Each booth contains intricate flower embroidery, and the walls contain murals of Thomas Edison, the namesake of the town. Staff was quick to take my order, most likely due to the lower customer count, but it was nice either way. I had ordered the "Pizza Burger," which had not taken long to come out, and despite not looking much like that of what's shown on the menu, it was quite delicious. I felt I had to wait quite a while before getting the attention of my server however in order to get my check, not that much of an issue given the rest of my experience though. The Edison Diner was a pleasant dining experience overall, nothing blatantly negative to point out, but nothing blatantly amazing about it either. just plain old good. Don’t ever order the prime rib from this place It isn’t freshly cooked they take it out of the refrigerator that was cooked several days earlier and try to heat it so it looks fresh the meat was red and gray Made him take the first piece back and didn’t even eat the second piece but I paid for it it wasn’t about the money they couldn’t care less I know the place is busy be careful what you eat

waitress was great orderd a dinner stake was onder the heat lamp the scallops war cold and dry stuffed clam was still frpzen in the middle sent it back was taken off the bill was charged $695 fur salade $695 for soup $150 for a side of hot peppers all oof that if it didnt come with the dinner.my daughters cheesebuger was dry from being under the heat .my husband didnt eat his dinner didnt tast good $57.00 pluse tip 20%had to go home and eat the waitress was great i always tip a watress for her service not the food she has to bring out .manager never cane to the table when asked for him also owner was there never came over also as we walked in the boss said it was stupid to were a mash .
