Easily one of the best meals I had while in Amsterdam for 10 days. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. I loved the spice level. It was way too much food for one person. When I come back, I'll definitely get the beef, salad, and potatoes/carrot/green bean mix. But everything was truly delicious!

The space fits about 15ish people. The day I went it was only the owner working as everyone else was at a wedding. I walked in and was seated quickly; however if you are more than a party of 2 I would recommend making a reservations in advance. I saw the owner turn away folks after he had taken the orders of 8 people given he was behind as he was the only cook for that day. I started my meal with a foreign beer with coconut. It was served in a traditional bowl. Very tasty. As to my meal, I couldn't decide and went with the vegetarian mix. It was delicious! I would have ordered dessert but the owner was busy. I would definitely go back!

One of our favorite meals in Amsterdam! The owner and all the servers were so kind and helpful.  They were featuring a Vegetarian evening...but we asked if he would be willing to do meat...he said if we didn't mind waiting...of course! It is a small restaurant but worth the wait.  The coconut beer is so unique.  Everything he put on our plate was devoured.  I can't really explain all the different combinations-but can confirm everything was fantastic.
