I was there yesterday for the first time in the evening and it was really cozy. I can also recommend coffee! The co-working space was always a bit crowded and the cafe itself is also rather loud.

My wife and I recently spent a day at the Effinger Coworking Space and we really enjoyed it. Centrally located, it has a real sense of community which you can feel and sense when you walk in. Really nice and kind people, a great adaption of workspace in a building with character. We highly recommend you visit and spend a day here. We will definitely return during our next visit to Bern.
