Nice surroundings, tasty food, but the portion sizes were way too small. 4 on our party (2 men and 2 women) had the Sunday lunch and were still hungry after.

This is the second time weve visited ego at the schooner inn, Penarth.We complained the first time about the cold food to the waitress and wrote a brief report on trip advisor hoping it would be an improved experience when we went the second time ? He wouldnt give his name and supported by a female work mate, all we got was :- no appology, no explanation, just an argumentative manager who would not listen to customers with legitimate complaints.Surprising considering the first reply.see above.A Very Rude manager who only wanted to argue is not what l would expect from a maitre de.We werent the only ones with problems, not surpring with the person in charge with this kind of attitude!We live locally and used to go there when it was the harvester, now the " ego" it needs to look seriously at the front of house.After trying to explain face to face about the problems we were told to get out !
