I’m trapped in an abusive relationship with Eight Fortunes. I’ve just given them 5 stars which is absurd but the crispy quack quack has made me deliciously delirious! Their food keeps me coming back, and has done for years but I have to wait so long for my food to be delivered I end up going prawn crackers! I feel like they don’t care how empty my tummy is, it’s always over an hour. But I keep going back for their Supreme Singapore Fried Rice and Charismatic Chilli and Salt Prawns Chefs Kiss to both these dishes! If it was via Uber Eats I’d have complained about the wait and got some dosh back, but alas it was ‘Dave the Delivery Driver’ and I ended up tipping him 50p. Now I’m not tight, but I’d waited nearly 2 hours and was Hank Marvin, so 50p felt like a king’s ransom; although Dave the DD looked at me like my name should have been Ebenezer! NO DAVE, 2 HOURS ISN’T OK! I nearly sacked the whole thing off, to opt for carrot sticks and hummus! But just as I was about to tuck into a swamp of the chickpea stuff, the doorbell went and there was Dave, with fortunes of which there were eight!!! I’m now fed and no longer hungry. I’ll no doubt order from them again because the foods good! And so the abusive relationship continues! You won this time 8F! Food: 5
