Nestled in the city of Kaizu, Eight is a quaint establishment located on Hiratacho Imao. It provides a cozy spot for a quick bite or morning coffee and invites guests to enjoy breakfast and lunch services. Despite its somewhat discreet exterior, the restaurant exudes an inviting atmosphere inside, with older jazz tunes wafting through the air. The establishment is primarily managed by a friendly individual who ensures a welcoming visit for newcomers and regulars alike.
The dining experience includes a selection of offerings such as coffee paired with meals that capture a traditional taste profile, like ginger set meals complemented by rice and side dishes. The venue features a complimentary parking lot behind the restaurant, while accessibility might pose challenges for visitors with mobility needs, as wheelchair-accessible facilities are not noted. Although visitor feedback highlights a lively atmosphere among locals, the food is praised for its distinct flavors and portion sizes.
Operating daily from 8 AM to 4 PM, Eight caters mostly to the local crowd with its laid-back ambiance. Smoking is permitted, lending it the feel of an old-fashioned café experience complete with reading materials and even a tobacco vending machine. The owner has maintained the same operations for some time without any new updates, leaving some aspects open to visitor discovery. If familiar faces and leisurely breaks are what you seek, Eight offers a slice of this relaxed lifestyle.

Price per person: ¥1–1,000 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
