This place started out ok but they have gone downhill. I placed a to-go order for 4 flautas con pollo, and 2 side of red rice. Get home to eat and not only did they serve burned meal, but didn't even give a normal serving size. I called them and all they said was sorry, come get the owed food. Told me to call some driver that I have to pay for. I'm done with this place.

Ive been driving by this every day for nearly 2 years and never thought to stop in. The outside doesn’t say much about what they offer inside. I had a Groupon and finally went to check the place out and was blown away. Food is GREAT, definitely the best Mexican in town. And prices are super reasonable. $8 for two tacos, rice and beans. Can’t beat it. I will be back for sure.

El Amigo is now my amigo. Call it serendipity, but my wife and I were looking for another taqueria and happened upon El Amigo. The parking lot is small with only about 4 spaces in front and another 10 or so to the rear. I thought it was order at the counter so I asked for a pair of menus and found a table though 2 minutes later a smiling waitress arrived bearing a tray laden with 4 salsas and chips. We opted for the 4 taco special that included a 16 ounce soda for a mere $8. My wife chose pollo asada and al pastor while I opted for cochinita and a special of chorizo asada. Each was pretty good with the exception of the chorizo which proved to be both dry and flavorless. I would not hesitate to return the next time we are in the immediate area at lunch time.
