First time eating here and I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm very impressed, beautiful place and excellent service. The food was more than expected, which is a good thing. Everyone else was happy with their orders. I plan on coming back in the future. I loved the music and atmosphere, everyone was very friendly and courteous. My husband and I remember when this building was for sale. When we pulled into the parking lot today, we wereer stunned to see the BEAUTIFUL transformation that has been done! And, the inside is even better! We just moved to the area from Arizona and the interior of El Barril looks even better than most of the Mexican restaurants in Tucson. The service is spectacular....attentive without being over-bearing. The food is great, with generous portions and the prices are quite reasonable. We live in the Mt. Washington area of Cincinnati and the short drive to El Barril was well worth it! This is a very nice clean restaurant. The food is very good, there is a great selection, prices are reasonable and the waiters and waitresses are very pleasant and friendly. They are accommodating and strive to please. We have been several times and have not been disappointed. I highly recommend this new restaurant.
