I was on a road trip with my brother and we passed by Santander for 2 nights . Our NH hotel receptionist recommended this quaint restaurant just down the road. The lovely waitress didn’t speak English nor French but she explained carefully each dish that we were curious about . I ordered the albóndigas ( which is usually meat balls in most cases in Spain but here it’s made of the local catch ( tuna ) of the day ) . It was a different take on a classic Spanish dish which I thoroughly enjoyed. My brother ordered a shrimp tapas and the callos which were also good. And we finished our meal by ordering their homemade cheesecake . We wanted to eat here again before we headed to Burgos but the kitchen was closed and the lovely waitress felt bad that she couldn’t accommodate us. Highly recommended service is good .. ambiance is great ( not too noisy ) . Price per person: €20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
