After enjoying Comunidad Israelita en Madrid, visit this bar that is not far away. Among other Spanish cuisune places to eat at, El Doble can be one of the greatest. Perfectly cooked anchovy, cockles and tapas will impress you at the first bite. It's nice to order delicious beer, wine or vermouth.
The success of this place wouldn't be possible without the cool waitstaff. Terrific service is something that people highlight in their comments. Many visitors mention that prices are low for what you get. There is a pleasant ambiance and cute decor at this spot. But this bar has been rated below average by Google.

Rude waiter who asks you as if the world was ending if you are going to eat and if not he throws you out when the bar is empty. So nothing, we ate the barnacles somewhere else. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Wonderful beer. Probably the best I had in Madrid. The food is good but unreasonably expensive. For a small plate of octopus, small plate of shrimps, and 2 beers - +43€ My recommendation: visit el doble, drink beer, eat a tapa. Meal type: Other Price per person: €40–50 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
