This place has good food and good service, today was a little different. It took a while to get my menudo and the lemon I asked for got to me when I had almost finished. The menudo is not the best but it is good. Today was different, the menudo seemed it was not from today. I’m thinking it was yesterday’s, but yesterday was Christmas so probably from Tuesday. Not sure of this but it didn’t seem it was made fresh today. I’m a menudo eater and it’s rare when I will say No to a bowl of Menudo. I have had menudo at various restaurants, and they are all different. I know when a menudo is not made the day it’s served. Same comments from others that ordered menudo. Not sure what to think. Will go to the restaurant again but maybe not have menudo there for a while Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

El Dorado Cafe is the best brunch place in South East Dallas. The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. The waitress Ana Karen always serves us expeditiously and never lets our drinks go empty. She always remembers the small things too, like extra napkins and the side of salsa and sourcream that we order.
