We have come to eat there quite often over the years. Unfortunately, this establishment is sliding towards ease and is becoming more and more disappointing. At our last meal, we had some obviously frozen “bolas de Queso” as an appetizer. As for the main dishes, they did not raise the level. Lamb chops (15 euros) composed largely of fat, accompanied by 6 fries (we counted them!) and a tiny piquillo. The “carilleras”, although quite tasty, came in a questionable quantity and were based on a spoon and a half of mashed potatoes. Not enough to substantiate or justify an addition of more than 40 euros (with 2 glasses of wine). We didn't leave a tip, which is far from usual for us. We won't come back there again. Some friends spent a few days in the Basque Country and we stayed in Irún.
