Great place to eat. I had the Arroz con Puerco with an order of Patacones. It was a ton of food! Very affordable. Would eat there again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: PAB 10–15 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I used to go to the old El Fogon about 12 years ago, always liked it, and decided to try this newer version on a trip to David. This one is nicer and has air conditioning. I had a rib-eye streak which was tasty and tender by Panamanian standards. Ordering a cup of wine will get you a full pour! They don't skimp. The service was also very good, quick, polite, food all came out at the right times, hot, and flavorful. This is not a 5 star restaurant by any stretch. It's a family friendly steak and pasta restaurant that does what it does very well! It's a sure bet.
