I learned of this place from social media. They were rated number one, having the best carne asada burrito in Chicago, by a couple of girls who did the legwork. I had the carne asada burrito dinner, and it was DELICIOUS! It was tender and just right. They also have homemade salsa that I’ve never had before. It was made with garlic and the usual ingredients but ground up, unlike how Pico de gallo is presented. The green chili salsa was flavorful and not too hot, and I love the heat. They were both great! Various dishes were ordered, and everyone at the table enjoyed their food and left happy. You should know they are cash only; however, they will take Venmo and Zelle for your convenience. Check them out; they will not disappoint. Dietary restrictions: My brother is gluten-free and enjoyed his dish of beans and rice, salad and grilled chicken. Parking: Street metered parking. Don’t get the burrito it’s bland. It’s all about the pambazo’s here and the horchata is super good! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–50 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Pambazo Papa Con Chorizo, Asada

Pambazos are Perfection. Can't recommend El Habañero enough, we went here just to try the pambazos and they were delicious beyond our expectations. We had the chorizo con papa & asada. The steak was marinated and grilled *perfectly*, but the papa con chorizo was so unique and amazing you really can't go wrong with either. The service was amazing! It's clear the owners truly care about your experience. Also the table salsas are better than ANY restaurant salsa we've had. The yellow was perfectly smoky & spicy while the green was a sweet & spicy tomatillo sauce. I can also say the Jamaica drink here is very refreshing and good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
