I've been here twice, I haven't been overly impressed with the food. It's bland and the rice has very little flavor. Compared to other Mexican restaurants the portions are small for the price. The salsa with cheese is great, the chips are mainly crumbs. The drinks were great. But what makes this place amazing is the service. We had Noah and he was so kind and polite. Been coming here for years! The service is always peak quality I've never had a bad experience here i always love my food! the shredded cheese is always a banger and the salsa is so good! i would recommend this place to anyone! First time in Salt Lake City and I chose El Matador Restaurant and I’m so glad I did! Food was amazing and service was great. Carne Asada Burrito definitely recommended!
