Come to this place and try Mexican cuisine. Taste good tacos, chicken and broth at this restaurant when you happen to be near it. Ordering tasty ice cream and good flans is a pleasant experience here. Great horchata or delicious coffee are the best drinks of El Mestizo - Santa Ana.
You can enjoy live music in the evening. The well-trained staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. You may be surprised by adequate prices at this place. Really superb Oaxacan cuisine and seafood at very reasonable prices. We had the banana leaf mole tamale, the house special sea bass, and Tlayuda. All were exceptional. One thing to note: the restaurant name has been removed, so it no longer says, "El Mestizo" on the side of the building. Just "Restaurant", which is behind a tree. This place is hard to spot but worth the effort. p.s. They have menus in English available.
