This restaurant was pretty confusing. First off, we walk into this restaurant thinking that it is called Milagro Latin Restaurant, only to learn later on by a business card and the receipt, that the restaurant was actually called, Cindy's that restaurant. Even though the sign on the door says otherwise. And then as we walked in it was a bit confusing on how to order. One of the ladies saw us walking in and started coming towards us. She had a confused look on her face which made us confused. We were not sure whether we were supposed to wait to be seated, seat ourselves, or order first. All the workers were in the back of the restaurant, so I was under the impression that that was where we were supposed to go to order our food. The lady that came walking towards us and did not seem to understand that we were there to buy food. Another lady had to come to us to order our food. Through all of the confusion, I must say their food definitely makes up for everything! So much flavor! And by far the best Hispanic food in Gainesville :)

I felt like I was in Central America, without the plane ticket! Music and 'comeda tipica.' Menu varies. Friendly, relaxed. Be prepared to speak Spanish. Definitely worth the 10 bucks. New management June 2015 has upgraded the reliability.

The food is generally good for being latin in a primarily non-latin area. However, if you bring your non-hispanic friends, as I did, you may be treated poorly by the waitress. Although I do not look hispanic, I am, and I speak Spanish fluently because it is my home language. I went in with three friends for one of my favorite Venezuelan foods, and the taste was okay (not the best I've had), but the waitress was rude. She asked the cook to serve us small portions, and when the food was ready on the counter, she asked him if there were smaller ones we could have instead. She gave us the ones ready anyway, but then definitely, definitely overcharged us. All of this was done in Spanish, because I am assuming she did not think I could understand her. The point is that I could, I did not speak up, and it was massively disrespectful. If it was not for the kind waiter who has served me in the past, I would never go back. All I am saying is they have one more chance.
