I came here on my lunch break, I believe I had been here before but many many years ago. I ordered the red grande burro, they are not playing with the grande it's pretty big. It was delicious and no way I could even finish it. There is seating outside but not many tables seems more of a take your order to go, it stays pretty busy but the staff was friendly and seemed to move the line along pretty quickly. I'd definitely pop back in if I was in the area.

This place is amazing. You'll get a giant amount of food for pretty cheap. I've tried so many things on the menu and never been disappointed. The tamales, enchiladas, tacos, nachos, and burritos are all very good. One thing that's not on the menu, that'd I'd recommend are the Chili Toreados. They're little grilled chili peppers. Put some salt on them, then eat them. This place has the best Chili Toreados in Phoenix. If in or around downtown Phoenix, give El Norteno a visit. Make sure to bring cash, they don't take cards.
