Guests state that it's fine to go here for the Caribbean and Puerto Rican meal. Perfectly cooked empanadas, lasagna and pork have a pleasant taste. The hospitable staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. The charming atmosphere will be exactly just what you need after a long working week. So sorry that you had to close your doors. I've been in Inverness for 12 years and this is by far the best Puerto Rican food in Citrus County.

I have been in search for a GOOD authentic Puerto Rican restaurant since we moved down here from the Bronx in 2013.... THIS place is IT! Nice little spot off 44. Food is amazing!!!! Monfongo was EXACTLY how it should be. Came with side of sauce and garlic just as it should. Each bite was better than the next. Side salad was perfect sized. My daughter had a Number 1 with arroz con gandules, black beans and steak. Everything was so good. Will be a return customer as long as they are in business! Cocina Boricua hecha a la perfección!!

I felt welcomed the minute I walked in, very friendly staff. I tried the rice and beans with steak and also pork, very delicious! Also there el pastelon made with plantain and flan was great! I will be returning to try there empanadas and other dishes!! Great addition for new eats in citrus county.
