The kind of Mexican food I grew up on. It’s different and there is a reason it’s been around for decades. Don’t be fooled by the simple menu, the flavors are there. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Chips and Salsa, Cheese Enchiladas Rice and Refried Beans, David Special, Chile Con Carne

I've eaten at El Patio,, my entire existence, my parents took me there, as a child.. I dined there as a young man, took my wife, and kids there.. A Tradition, I had heard that El Patio Restaurant had sold out/cashed in, then I heard it closed down.. Driving. Past El Patio 8-26-2020, I could see it was plainly open, not closed at all.. I was hungry so I stopped.. I don't know the new owners, or their. history.. I can tell you the food, and service was excellent.. In fact better than the previous owners, and they were an institution here in ATX... I will definitely be going back to El Patio Restaurant soon... The atmosphere was laid back, and hip.. The Staff friendly, helpful, and professional...The Food was some of the best Mexican Food I've eaten in at least the last five years... Big Shout Out to the Chef, and the Crew in the Kitchen...
