After a long walk around High Springs Museum, go to this restaurant and have a rest here. Visit this place and discover Mexican cuisine. At El Patio, visitors can try good grilled prawns, stewed steaks and green chicken. You will hardly forget delicious margaritas, beer or tequila that you can drink. The atmosphere is nice. The location is delightful. Beautiful small town, but the chili rellenos meal was disappointing. You could tell it was already fried once an put into the refrigerator, to be fried again. Cold on the inside, over fried on the outside, on a really hot plate that did nothing for the meal. Not mention we had to send the chips back, because they were stale. And you'll rarely see a waiter. We've been like 10 times. Always the same Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

This was our 1st time trying El Patio in High Springs. We usually go to the one in Alachua. We enjoyed this location as well. The food,service, and atmosphere were great. This location does have an outdoor area, which we will probably sit at next time we go. The salsa and chips were delicious, and the food we got was delicious. My son got chicken wings, and he said they were the best he has had around here. Nice and crispy. The service was great and the atmosphere was very comfortable. There is a nice bar at this location as well. We love that the restaurant is in an old building and they left the brick exposed. We will definitely be back. Extremely rude! We used to patronize very frequently but the service has dwindled and today was the last straw. Walked in, the door was open, was told they weren’t open yet, it was 5 minutes till and was asked to leave. Obviously business is so good they don’t need ours.
