This place is a gem! Walk run or drive to this place for the best chimichanga ever! Everything is homemade, sauces are homemade, everything is so good. We tried the enchiladas too and the sauce was simply amazing. Great food from a talented chef. The folks who own and run this place are good humans. You're going to love it! Monday, October 27, 2025 After the Lava Beds National Park, we went to Dorris, CA to eat at El Ranchito. We had seen it as we passed through the small town on our way to Lassen Volcanic NP on Saturday. It is a small “hole in the wall” restaurant in a very small town. The owners have been able to stay in business for 20 years and they had a lot of locals dropping in. So, you know the food is good. The food, service, and atmosphere were great. My wife had the Enchiladas and I had the Fajitas Ranchros. The food was delicious and the owners were great to talk with. We highly recommend this really good place to eat. Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
