We were traveling and needed a place to eat close to our hotel, we decided to try El Rancho Nuevo. We are so glad we did! The food was delicious, prepared as ordered and fresh but also quick. I am a connesoir of Chili Rellenos and theirs was way above the average. My friends meals were equally above the grade. It was so good that we went back there for a meal a second night. From the moment I called to place my order for takeout to the time I picked it up, there was just this unwelcoming and unfriendly vibe. The guy on the phone didn’t say thank you and the person who handed us the food was very dismissal in a very “here’s your food bye” kind of way. Not to mention, the order was a big order for my 3 boys and wife. As for the food, despite it taking 25min opposed to 15 like they mentioned, it was nothing special. I truly don’t get how anyone can eat here and say that this is unique mexican food, it’s literally the same stuff and taste that you can find anywhere. It’s more expensive Than traditional for no good reason other than having to pay high rent. I think their chips are also store-bought. Safe to say, I am will not be returning to this place and suggest anyone else to save your money and go elsewhere.
