My wife and I recently stopped by El Rey seafood schack to try it out and we really enjoyed our dine in experience. We started off with a half order of prepared oysters that had a mix of shrimp and ceviche that was amazing real tasty. She had a shrimp cocktail that was very flavorfull and I had 3 grilled shrimp tacos that came nicely prepared with Avocados slices fries and coleslaw. Our waitress provided great service and even the owner stopped by to say hello and asked us if everything was good. I highly recommend El Rey seafood schack to anyone in the mood for some great seafood! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hands down some of the best seafood I’ve had in Texas. Crawfish was definitely clean and flavorful. Oysters were busting with flavor also got them on the grill. Also had a crab leg could’ve been bigger but definitely flavorful also. The environment was friendly and the music was tasteful. I will most definitely go back. Service was great parking was easy and the amount of food for the prices was worth it and the hour drive. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We’ve been waiting to try this place and today was that day! My wife got a grilled fish and a grilled shrimp taco. She liked the shrimp better although neither had much seasoning. I think they’d both be better if fried but that’s not her style I got the catfish and was shocked at the quantity. I thought I was getting two pieces but four came out. I didn’t think I’d eat it all but then I started eating and it was all over. The texture was probably the best I’ve ever had – buttery smooth in your mouth and crispy outside that was still flexible enough to bend but not break. The fries were a little soft and didn’t have much flavor but the fish was outstanding. I’ll definitely be back for that and Claudia was super helpful and friendly!
