Too expensive in my personal experience. I ordered two shrimp quesadillas and it came to almost $40. It had a good taste but not worth $40. It was loaded with cheese but stingy with the shrimp and this was for lunch. I wouldn’t complain if I had the 5-6 pieces like other restaurants but they only gave 3 pieces. The person who took the order was friendly but never provided the price once i placed the order just the wait time. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I’ve visited El Rinconcito several times and enjoy the food, but the customer service, specifically from Maria has consistently been disappointing. This most recent experience happened today. I called to place a takeout order and from the beginning she was very rude. I politely asked if she could repeat my order back to me to make sure everything was correct, since I’ve had issues with incorrect orders there before. Instead of confirming the order, she ignored my request and hung up before I could even ask for the total. When I arrived to pick up my food, my order had been taken down incorrectly, exactly what I was trying to prevent. I then had to wait while the rest of my order was corrected. When I explained that I had asked for my order to be repeated, the response I received was dismissive and unprofessional. If the restaurant had been extremely busy, I might have understood why she rushed or ended the call quickly. However, when I arrived the restaurant was completely empty, which made the interaction even more frustrating. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I understand how important customer service is. Guests should feel respected and listened to, especially when placing an order. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. This also isn’t the first time I’ve experienced poor service from Maria. I go to this restaurant often, but many times it already seems very slow or empty. Situations like this may be part of the reason. The food is good, but the service needs serious improvement. After this experience, I will likely be taking my business elsewhere.
