This was the WORST Mexican food that has ever been served to me! I ordered Street Tacos with Fish, expecting the typical double layer of corn tortillas with a nice piece of fish inside, and topped with shredded cabbage and spicy sauce. But what I got was soggy, single layer tortillas with fish that was literally chopped into pieces, resembling ground beef, and very little of it, at that...topped with way too much soggy iceberg lettuce and a bit of tasteless Pico de Gallo. The tacos literally fell apart due to the soggy tortillas...had to get a fork and eat like a salad. On top of that, the menu does not specify that the price shown is PER taco! So those 3 crappy tacos cost $6.55 each! And trust me, the menu does NOT specify that the price is for one taco only . There wasn't even an ounce of fish in any one of them. I wish I had taken a picture! Also, the salsa they served with the chincey portion of chips was so watery that it didn't even stick to the chips, and had no flavor at all. Finally, when the woman came out to take payment, she didn't even bring a check or receipt or anything. She simply announced the total off $44! My boyfriend had a burrito and a coke, and I had 3 miserable excuses for fish tacos and water to drink...$44! REALLY?! Being utterly shocked at the price, we asked to see the check. The woman seemed slightly annoyed at the request, but she brought out a ticket and that's when we were advised that the fish taco price of $6.55 was PER taco. She actually tried to show me on the menu where it says "each", but she had to eat her words because the menu does not say "each". It shows a picture of a plate of tacos and says "fish or shrimp $6.55". If they want to hide the price, then the server should be required to let customers know the price! My boyfriend said this place used to be good under the prior ownership...the new owners will be out of business quickly unless they fix these kind of things! We certainly won't be back. I'd rather flush money down the toilet! Meal type: Lunch
