Don't tell my Mexican mother but this is the best carne guisada I HAVE EVER HAD! Between Hasam's amazing service and the relaxing environment. Topped with the food here being just absolutely amazing! I don't know how I haven't been here before. Because looking for real Mexican food that is truly out of this world is absolutely so hard to find. And of all places... in Boerne. This fine dining establishment will truly knock your socks off! The tortilla soup is amazing and homemade. The salsa's bring me back to my youth spending time in Ciudad and Juarez. Please give my compliments to those who are cooking this absolute food for the God's cooking. You HAVE to go here. HAVE TO! Thank you all so much! Truly! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was good, came out hot and decently fast. My biggest complaint is the tortillas were terrible and store bought. I would expect this in another state but for sure not in Texas and not in south texas. Otherwise this was good food. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This restaurant used to have great food.. but no more!! They are rude when you walk in.. the food sure is not what it once was.. my husband & I sure did not enjoy the food today or previously the last year of longer! We just will not be returning after today for sure no matter how hungry we are!! We will go over to the Burger King! Much better food!! So long El Rio Mexican Restaurant in Boerne!!
