We visited the Rodeo Bar and Grill for date night to try the new soft serve margaritas and mine was very good. It had a fruit and dairy soft serve base with a tequila mixture. Mine had a fair amount of tequila but wasn’t overpowering or strong—more refreshing and sweet, although balanced. The restaurant was busy, with about a 20-40 minute first come, first serve wait. Almost every table in the restaurant had a soft serve margarita which shows the popularity and influence of this group that help make them go viral so quickly. In speaking with the restaurant staff, they told me it happened almost overnight; it wasn’t something they expected; and it is something they are still adjusting to. The demand was high, but they kept serving them to almost everyone who visited, without running out, along with a fairly robust Mexican food menu. The salsa from the complimentary chips and salsa was legit, and the tacos and salad we ordered were also good. I would come back again for the soft serve margarita alone, but maybe after dinner next time. 7247 Bandera Rd, Leon Valley, TX 78238
