You can get a glass of light or dark beer

If you happen to be around Iglesia de Jesus, visit this bar. The Mexican cuisine is on the menu at El Rodeo. This place provides good nacho chips and nicely cooked kacamak. It's time to degustate delicious beer. Here you may drink good lemonade.

Musicians perform live music in the evening. The nice staff welcomes guests all year round. Service at this spot is something one can call terrific. Here you will pay adequate prices. At this bar, visitors can enjoy the cozy ambiance and cute decor. But many clients who use Google didn't grant El Rodeo a high rating.

Wow with all the 1 star reviews, I was leary after reading them. We arrived hangry from the close to 2 hour bus ride from Izamal. Juan greeted us and directed us to a table in the middle. He had a few other tables to attend and he was back within a few minutes to scan the menus. Hubs and I decided we didn't want to order too much and then go straight to bed. When Juan came around, told him we were gonna share the Cochinita Pibil platter. Since this was my first time trying it, I didn't know what to expect. I've been told from the locals, to drive to a little town on the weekend and get it from there. Well I ain't got time like that so this is as good as it's gonna get. Food did take a while but not enough to make a scene or complain. When it did arrive, we went all in and pretty much lick the plate clean. Don't know if it was we were starving or ot was pretty damn good. I didn't give 5 stars only since they do lack providing Wi-Fi for their customers. When I asked Juan after ordering for the password, he said they didn't have it but how is their credit card terminal working. That was only the disappointment as all the other places we have gone to even in little pueblos provide you their wifi. Juan provided excellent service and held it together with all his tables. Price per person: $200–300

And if you need somewhere convenient, it’s fine. If you’re looking for somewhere with good food, keep walking. We visited around 2-3 pm. The nachos were mega, but meh. And the salbutes were decent. There’s just not a lot of seasoning or flavor to any of the food. Leaves a lot to be desired. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: $100–200
