Dip depresión rodeo Where do I even start… I have honestly never seen such a depressing and sad restaurant experience in my life. For a place that sells itself as a “Mexican restaurant,” this felt completely fake and far from authentic Mexican food. Google honestly should remove it from the Mexican restaurant category. I ordered the fajitas, and they were one of the most miserable and tasteless plates I’ve ever had. The plate was basically 200 grams of onions with very little meat that honestly tasted like it had been sitting in the fridge for who knows how long. The beans had no flavor at all, and the tea? In Mexico we call that agua de calcetín — literally “sock water.” Even the coffee tasted cheap and watered down. Growing up poor, I still never had coffee this bad. The place has so much potential because it’s located on the main avenue, but the food, service, and atmosphere are terrible. The front desk girl looked completely unhappy, there was no music, and the environment felt empty and depressing — like a scene from Rango where the town is dying of thirst. I didn’t eat the buffet, but just seeing it was enough to worry me. The employee replacing the food was distracted on his phone the whole time. I understand it’s a small town, but customers still deserve decency, quality, and basic standards. I’ve been to many small towns with tiny restaurants that serve incredible food and amazing service, so there’s really no excuse. This business seriously needs to rethink what it wants to be. The city is growing, and with growth comes higher expectations for quality and service. If this restaurant doesn’t improve soon, I honestly don’t see it surviving in the future.
