The place was very nice, located inside a country club. It was very quiet the day I went there with a friend (a Wednesday). Nice ambience music. Service was good enough, though the garzon was kind of distracted. The Galician octopus (pulp a la gallega) was awesome. The papas braves, gambas al ajillo and tortilla española were also good. The sangria was actually not as good as I expected, but the house special (1494) was excellent. Price per person: OMR 16–18 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Having recently visited spain, i came withblow expectations , i can say i was pleasantly surprised, food was good although not very authentic, like the patatas bravas, the gambas al ajillo (quality shrimp, we are in oman after all) while some felt more italian bruschetta than pan con tomate, but overall fine. I imagine it is livelier at night, as i spotted a stage for maybe a live band, otherwise it was as boring as the gold course surrounding it. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: OMR 10+ Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

You don’t feel like you’re in muscat at El Sabor Rico! Great food, cozy atmosphere, well stocked bar, and lots of fun events. A great place overall! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
