Peruvian cuisine is to guests' liking here. This restaurant boasts good fish, arroz con pollo and shrimp ceviche. Nothing can be better than trying tasty flans. Get your meal started with delicious wine. Based on the reviewers' opinions, waiters serve great chicha morada.

El Saltado is suitable for guests who have lunch in a hurry as they can order dishes as a takeout. A number of visitors note that the dishes are offered for reasonable prices. The beautiful decor and spectacular atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. But google users rated this place and it didn't get a high rating.

Hours are till 8 pm on Sunday. Got here at 740 and they were closed. Do better and at least stay open for your scheduled hours.

I am not sure if is the owner or the manager but she was pretty rude with my employees and my self. And on top of that the prices are really high for a small portions.

I really dislike eating Peruvian food in other countries. I rarely accept to do it, and most times (if not all) I've ended up highly disappointed. I don't bother tasting Peruvian food in other countries because I'm regularly in Peru and can simply taste it home. I visited El Saltado after legitimate Peruvian reviews I read on Yelp. I have to join those yelp reviewers in praising this place! I didn't want to order Lomo Saltado because I didnt want to end up dissapointed, but my friends did, we also ordered, tiradito, saltado de verduras (veggie saltado), saltado de mariscos and chicha morada. If you want a real taste of Peruvian food, you must visit El Saltado. My detailed "Peruvian paladar" review below: - Saltados (all the saltados we asked for) were "en su punto", you could actually taste the "saltado" taste in every piece on your plate. The smell was perfect, the best combination of ingredients without exaggerating, nor adulterating ingredientes (which most Peruvian restaurants do). - Chicha: Everybody makes his/her best combination of chicha, you either put more fruit, less water or more key limes, it is really up to you, it will be a perfect chicha if you properly combine ingredients on a real purple corn (not powder, as most peruvian restaurants do).Chicha was good, a little too much on cinnamon, but I love cinammon, so it was a perfect good new chicha taste for me. Everything else was perfect on the chicha, sweetness, key lime, water and boiled time for the corn. - Tiradito: This one is actually very hard to find in the US. This one was good, the taste was good, a little high on pepper (which was new, and good), and the tiradito sauce was not my favorite in consistency/texture, but the taste was fabulous!! the fish was also good, and the corn helped to make it a good dish! level of spiciness was perfect, I can almost bet it had rocotito. I hope this review helps. This is one of my top favorite Peruvian food restaurant located internationally (not in Peru).
