Don’t let the modest street presence fool you, El Tapatio is a gem. Only a block off the main street. Margaritas to please the choosiest margarita snob (me). Our party of six worked our way through the menu and everything was excellent. Guacamole and chips, shrimp ceviche, shrimp cocktail, asada tacos, fish tacos, even the crispy fried chicken sandwich. Friendly and attentive waitstaff, modest prices, not a single off key note in the whole experience. We were here for a one day stop on a Baja California cruise and now we’re thinking about making Loreto the destination for our next chill vacation. When you are in Loreto GO TO EL TAPATIO! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $500–600
