We stop at this store anytime we pass through Dothan specifically to get their chicharrones and a chunk of cheese with the orange/reddish rind on it. Both great accompaniment to Mexican beer! When we have time, we eat in the restaurant. They sometimes serve a free, small bowl of vegetable soup with the meals that is so tasty. I've had carnitas, enchiladas, menudo, caldo de rez, fried birria tacos with a little bowl of consommé, all kinds of tacos and my go to flautas and I recommend them all! Wash it down with an horchata or jaimaica. The owners are wonderful people and the staff is very friendly. If you're looking for authentic Mexican food, don't skip on El Torito!
