Danny DANNY. DANNY! An amazing Bartender/Server here at the EL BAR. From the time we walked in to when we were about three drinks nice, Danny was EVERYTHING. Attentive, professional, friendly, accomodating, I thought "What great customer service! I've got to tell others about Danny!" He had us try some of the cocktails he's working on and...YES PLEASE to these DELICIOUS DRINKSSSS! We tried several. EL BAR is the new kid on the block and if the service has anything to do with its future, THEY'RE HERE TO STAY! I definitely envy the Pigtown community here in B-More having this gem in their backyard. If you're only passing through, this should be one of the *MUST STOP* places on your road trip map. I promise. Neighbourhood space that can easily transcend from bar to restaurant to lounge to event space. I'm so feeling EL BAR. Yep, I'm still here. For those of you following my reviews, YOU KNOW, I have a lot of drafts waiting to be published BUT, the ONLY time I'm compelled to review immediately is when a spot rocks! EL BAR! They serve food too. Kitchen closes 9pm during the week so on my next trip I'll be here earlier to try their bar bites. See my pics for further opening hours. The space is shaped in the form of a capital letter "L", not to be confused with their name "EL" Bar. It's simply a sweet coincidence. Apparently they're gonna have space upstairs as well and late spring (April 2025) I'm already envisioning an epic summer time here! 100% recommend! The End.
