I came in today around 1PM and the young lady who helped me package my 8 cupcakes did not package them correctly or with consideration of the quality of my order. Six of them were placed in a cupcake carrier and my other two were thrown into a white paper bag ontop of each other. She could have given me another carrier. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I left today genuinely disappointed. My parents have been customers here for years and we have always loved the cupcakes. I drove about 40 minutes today to pick up cupcakes for my fiancé’s birthday, and my son and I were both really excited to go in. This was actually my first time being the one to purchase from the bakery myself. Unfortunately, the customer service was extremely disappointing. We weren’t greeted or welcomed when we came in, and neither of the employees working seemed friendly or welcoming. The employee who helped with my pickup order was very dismissive and seemed annoyed that I was there. She handed me my order, asked in an irritated manner if I wanted my receipt, and immediately moved on to the next customer, who she was also very rude toward. I understand everyone can have an off day, and I don’t expect employees to be overly cheerful, but there is a difference between that and making customers feel like an inconvenience. After driving 40 minutes and being genuinely excited to visit a bakery my family has supported for years, it was really disappointing to leave feeling so unwelcome. The cupcakes are still wonderful, which is why I’m giving two stars rather than one, but the customer service today really took away from the experience. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

I’ve gotten multiple cakes from Ele cake co and have been dissatisfied with the service twice now. I did a quick run for a birthday cake and during that time I noticed one of the displayed cakes having hair around the front of it. It is understandable these things can happen I brought it to the lady’s attention just so she would be aware in case anyone else were to notice and she seemed careless of it and took it as a complaint with no action taken rather than someone kindly giving them a heads up.
