The electric cheetah cascade has made some major renovations since I was there for their soft opening. For starters, they have a gorgeous kitchen area that matched the Eastown location. There were also some pretty plants that adorned the perimeter of the room. Even from the moment we stepped inside, it was obvious they were short-staffed. We waited 10 minutes just to be seated (despite having a reservation) and watched food sit on the counter as staff scrambled around doing other things. However, I won't fault them much for that as I understand the o going shortage of service workers. Overall, the food was quite delicious despite long wait times. My salmon was paired perfectly with some ancient grains and a lovely tahini sauce, a hearty pairing I hadn't tried before. I'm glad to have another nice restaurant in the Ada/Cascade area! Hopefully service will be better when they have better staffing.
