Staffing and operating a restaurant like Elise is a high wire act. It has to flex between a special event space, pre-show demands, and compete with single focus operators in the area simultaneously. Elise does it all really well. The menu and execution are wonderful. We had a Niçoise Salad and the Linguini with Shrimp and calabrian chiles. Both were different. We each tried a different NA cocktail and they were excellent. Other reviews mention inattentive service; our server Frank was great. Nice pacing, great recommendations and proactive throughout the meal. We’ve been twice and we’ll definitely return regularly. Makes catching a show at Woodruff easy and is not your typical “museum fare.” Check it out. It’s worth the time and your stomach will thank you. food very good, interesting but cornbread & whole wheat $9 is no thanks? OK, I had other anyway, but really at these prices $9 is really nickel & diming or nining?. The steelhead trout looks like salmon & less expensive fish so why not Salmon? Sauce and black-eyed peas were a delicious combo. The pasta is always good no matter what. Salads could add a bit more variety and be less obtuse in id. Try the Red Room this time and it was a little more comfortable than the Big Green Room which is beautiful but I feel like I'm eating in a convention banquet room. Really there's got to be something they can do about that big high ceiling or maybe some plants in the middle or lower Chandelier or something. Frank the server was terrific! Great personality & very helpful and friendly. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $80–90
