After seeing SoCo District, it may be a good idea to visit this restaurant. If you have never tasted French and Vietnamese cuisines, you should order a table and try the menu at Elizabeth Street Café. Nothing can be better than trying mouthwatering shrimp rolls, pork buns and shrimp spring rolls. This place offers you nicely cooked chocolate croissants, French pastry and macarons. A lot of visitors order good wine, beer or bitter. Great vietnamese coffee, iced green tea or French coffee will make your meal even more delicious and you'll certainly come back.

This spot is suitable for people who have supper on the go as they can order food as a takeout. The success of this restaurant wouldn't be possible without the accommodating staff. Delicious dishes at attractive prices are provided here. You will definitely like the pleasant atmosphere and terrific decor. Frommer's experts have rated Elizabeth Street Café 2 stars, surely, it's worth a visit.

Wow!! New favorite. To be upfront - it's pricey but worth every penny. My wife and I wandered in on a Monday night. The place was packed in the right kind of way. Very sexy vibe, low lights and great music, kinda like Justine's in E Austin. Not too long of a wait, and an open bar for relaxing before table-time. We grabbed some spring rolls and this AWESOME vermicelli bowl with fish on top (Cha Ca Red Fish). OMG it was incredible. Reminded me of ma po tofu - a healthy portion of red chili paste mixed with a great array of flavors from turmeric to ginger. The fish was perfectly cooked. A big bowl too - we could have split just the one. Everybody else's food looked amazing too. We'll definitely be back during happy hour when the bahn mi is 1/2 off! That's amazing, world-class bahn mi for $5-$6. I'm so pumped for next time :)
It was all great. Specifically the cucumber and mango salad, baguette and escargots and steamed pork buns.
My first visit to Elizabeth Street Cafe. Enjoyed an excellent lunch with 2 friends.  We started with the Steamed Rice Roll with shrimp, puffed rice and a delicious ponzu sauce. (Was very much like a rice noodle roll with shrimp from a dim sum restaurant, but this was highly elevated with the delicious sauce and the crunchy tiny puffed rice grains.).  I had a very flavorful and delicious Grilled Chicken Thigh Bun. It was a generous portion and there was virtually nothing left in the bowl when finished!  My companions also said the Grilled Marinated Pork Bun and the Pork & Shrimp Crepe was also wonderful.  Can't believe I've waited so long to enjoy a meal here and anxious for a return visit.
